in the destruction caused due to rain coupled with storms
in the last 24
hours.
The wind blew away roofs of makeshift houses and electricity poles collapsed leaving six persons dead and several others injured. 32-year-old Basharat was killed in Lahore after a tree fell on him. Moreover, a woman and a girl were kill
ed after the roof of their house caved in. A man was kill
ed after a wall fell on him in Lower Dir while another man was kill
ed after
lightning struck him.
