KOHAT: Kohat po
lice claimed to have apprehended a suspect and recovered a huge cache of weapons from his possession.
On a tip-off, the po
lice conducted checking of a bus near Kohat Tunnel on Wednesday and recovered huge cache of wea
pons hidden in different areas of a van.
The susp
ected person was arrested. The
police recovered
30 Kalashnikov, 98 pistols and thousands of cartridges.
Police sources said that the weapons seized were being sent to Taliban in Afghanistan.
The suspect has been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
