ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif will appear in Judge Mohammad Arshad Malik’s Accountability court II for the two remaining corruption references against him and his family.
In
an earlier hearing, star witness Wajid Zia, and the head of the Panamagate Joint Investigation Team (JIT) we
re cross-questioned. The Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar had ordered a six-week extension, at the end of
which, the two references should be concluded.
Nawaz and his daughter, Maryam
also had their names placed on the Exit Control List (ECL), barring them from leaving the
country.
